NEW ORLEANS– In a commanding display of volleyball prowess, Loyola secured a decisive 3-0 victory over Dillard University on September 24, 2025, at The Den in New Orleans. The win elevated Loyola's record to 14-5 overall and 4-1 in conference play, while Dillard dropped to 6-6 overall and 3-1 in conference competition.
Loyola's offensive efficiency was the standout factor in the match, with the team hitting an impressive .274 compared to Dillard's -.050. The home team set the tone right from the first set, winning it 25-14, followed by a dominant 25-9 in the second set, and sealing the match with a 25-15 victory in the third.
Isis Harink led the charge for Loyola with a stellar performance, registering nine kills and a hitting percentage of .381. Ivana Peixe also contributed significantly with seven kills and a .389 hitting percentage. The team's balanced attack was complemented by Katy Hollingsworth and Clarissa Dupree, who added four and six kills, respectively.
