Dillard Plays UL Before the New Year
LAFAYETTE, LA (December 29, 2026)– Louisiana overwhelmed Dillard 97–56 on Monday night at the Cajundome, using a dominant first half and a major rebounding edge to cruise to the win.
Louisiana set the tone immediately, jumping out to a 25–10 lead after the first quarter and extending it to 56–22 by halftime. Dillard steadied in the second half—outscoring Louisiana 34–41 after the break—but the early deficit was too large to threaten.
