Bleu Devils Come Up Just Short

Shreveport,LA- The Lady Bleu Devils drop a close contest to LSU-Shreveport on the final day of the LSU-S Tournament. Similar to last season, Dillard played hard but came up just short of victory. The contest was close to the end but the Pilots were just too much for the Bleu Devils. Ariana Hart let it all on the court as she was active on both ends of the court and had an all-around game. Hart would have 12 pts,4 rebs, and 3 stl. Hart led all Bleu devils in points with Taylor Dewitt being a close second with 11 pts. Freshman twins Asia and Aubree Dawson combined for 10 pts in the contest. They seem to be fitting into coach Rome's scheme well. The Lady Bleu Devils will have their next contest at home in Dent Hall against Mobile on November 7, 2022, at 5:30 pm. They will look to get back on track after a long break.

Sydni John-Baptiste had 6pts and also brought in 5 rebs to give Dillard a boost off the bench. Asian Dawson had 5 rebs in the contest to lead all Bleu Devils. Taylor Dewitt also showcased her ability to pass by leading the team in assists(2).
