Dillard Back On The Right Track
New Orleans,LA- Dillard's Men's basketball completely dominated the Knights of SUNO. Dillard got off to a hot start and never looked back as they held the lead the entire game. That lead was mostly due to the exceptional play of Kenyon Duling, who had 24 points and 6 rebounds. Dillard would also be lights out from the field shooting 565 on the night. It would prove to be a great statistical night for the Bleu Devils as they would break the 100-point threshold for the second time this season. Dillard improved to 12-5 and 4-3 in the GCAC. Their next match-ups will take place this weekend as they travel to Tougaloo college to compete in another GCAC Roundup. Dillard will have the opportunity to get a rematch against two teams(Tougaloo and Wiley) that defeated them earlier this season in nail-biters. This will also be their first contest against Fisk this season. Coach Price and the Bleu Devils look to be back on track as they round out GCAC play and gear up for the tournament.
Dwight Felton was the second-leading scorer with 16 points on the night. The high flyer, Tyrus Crawford, would also have a great nice as he was just shy of a double-double with 9 points and 8 rebounds. Ty'Ohn Trimble, also had an outstanding night passing as he was just shy of matching his season high in assists with 8. Armani Allen may have had one of his best performances to date in the Bleu and Black as he knocked in 14 points as well as had 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Quinterious "Bud" Jones also had 12 points and 4 rebounds to lead the Bleu Devils to a 40-point victory.
