Dillard loses to Texas College 92-83

Tyler, TX - (Men's Basketball) The Dillard Bleu Devils officially started their season tonight playing at Texas College, where they lost the Steers 92-83. Sophomore guard Myron McGowan had 24 points and a team high eight rebounds, followed by senior guard James Burkes with 17 points. DeCarlos Riley (T-Sr./G) chipped in 12 points and Mico Sjekloca (T-So./F) added 10. Dillard (0-1) shot 15-32 at the free throw line. The men continue their East Texas swing, tomorrow afternoon, playing at Wiley College. Tipoff is 4 p.m.
