Student-Athletes with a Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or Higher Increases to 131

NEW ORLEANS– We are proud to announce that 131 of our student athletes have earned a cumulative GPA a 3.0 or higher at the end of the fall term. This is a 20 person increase from the number of students we had at the beginning of summer. Our student-athletes not only excel on the court/field, but also in the classroom. As of Jan. 5, the department's cumulative GPA increased to a 3.13 and the term GPA is a 3.14. As a University and Department, we are continuously striving to cultivate leaders on the court/field and in the classroom. These numbers are not only a testament to the efforts of the staff in Dent Hall, but to our student-athletes who are constantly pushing themselves to be the best. Baseball has the most student athletes with a 3.0 or higher and Women's Volleyball follows closely behind. Below is the list of athletes:
