Bio
"Zack" grew up in Queens, New York, and played basketball in some of the city's most prominent
and competitive leagues. He played in the Holcombe Rucker, Each-One-Teach One, and King
Towers Leagues.
"Zack" felt he was not recruited, but his basketball experience was enough to try out for the Blue
Devil basketball team. He made the team. He worked as the sixth man in his first year and all of
the Gulf Coast Conference (GCAC) in his sophomore year. As a Junior, he averaged 16 points
and six rebounds per game, receiving GCAC honors. In his senior year, he was again named
All-GCAC and team co-captain. "Zack" averaged 20 points and eight rebounds per game during
his senior season. Dillard finished the season winning 19 games, losing one game in the district
championship.
"Zack" was voted the Most Valuable Player by the coaching staff and selected to play in the
Louisiana Basketball College Senior All-Star Game in Lake Charles, LA.
