Britt Vallot, a New Orleans native, comes to Dillard University as an Athletic Trainer through Ochsner Sports Medicine’s department.  He is a graduate of Archbishop Shaw High School and under scholarship attended Nicholls State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Allied Health.

While at Nicholls State, Britt competed in powerlifting through the USAPL and in 2004 helped to bring back the first national championship win to Nicholls ever.  Britt completed his Powerlifting career at Nicholls with school records in both squat and deadlift.  In the Athletic Training program, Britt completed specialty rotations in football, soccer, softball and baseball and participated in the Manning Passing Academy in its first two years.

In 2008, Britt began his career with CORA Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation as the head athletic trainer for The Master’s Academy in Oviedo, Florida.  Since his start, Britt has had the opportunity to work alongside former NFL wide receiver Herkie Walls and Major Leaguer Kirk Bullinger.  In 2011, he moved back to his hometown to come on board with Ochsner as a part of their Athletic Training Outreach program.
