(New Orleans) The Dillard Lady Bleu Devils suffered their second consecutive conference loss, 64-62 to the SUNO Lady Knights on Tuesday night at the Castle on the campus of Southern University at New Orleans.
In what seemed like an easy victory for the Lady Bleu Devils (6-2, 9-8) midway through the second half, turned into a disappointing last second loss.
(New Orleans) The Dillard Lady Bleu Devils suffered their first conference loss of the season and had their six game winning streak snapped with a 74-60 to the Xavier Gold Nuggets on Saturday night at the Barn on the campus of Xavier University.
The Lady Bleu Devils (6-1, 9-7) still remain in a virtual tie for first place in the GCAC Conference, only percentage points behind Xavier (7-1, 17-6).

(New Orleans) Dillard Lady Bleu Devil Ariel Mitchell has been named GCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week ending January 22, 2012.
Mitchell, who is the second Lady Bleu Devil to win player of the week honors this season, is a 5-7 senior guard from St. James, Louisiana. Mitchell was recognized for her stellar performance last week versus Edward Waters College and this week versus Talladega College.

(New Orleans) The Dillard Lady Bleu Devils continued their magnificent run of excellent basketball play, coming from behind in dramatic fashion to defeat the Talladega Lady Tornadoes 72-70 on the Battlefield in Dent Hall on Monday Night.
With the victory and Xavier's loss, the Lady Bleu Devils (6-0, 9-6) now have sole possession of first place in the GCAC Conference standings, a first this late in the season since the 2004-05 season prior to Hurricane Katrina. The Lady Bleu Devils are the only remaining undefeated team in conference play and have won 6 games in a row and 7 of their last 8 games overall.

(New Orleans) The Dillard Lady Bleu Devils continued their overall impressive play on the basketball court and dominated Edward Waters College 71-58 on Monday evening on the final day of the MLK Weekend GCAC Conference Mid-Season Tournament.
The Lady Bleu Devils (5-0, 8-6) led from beginning to end in the victory. The Lady Bleu Devils now have pushed their winning streak to five games and are two games over .500 for the first time in two years.
