Jasmyn Fine was the first to cross the finish line for the Lady Bleu Devils, placing 24th out of 31 racers in a time of 27:05.  She was followed by teammates Ebone Pierce (27:17, 25th), who improved her previous best of 28:44, and Taaler Johnson (29:41, 27th).  With five teams competing, the women's team placed fourth. Mobile's Lady Rams did not place and had only two runners in the event.

The Lady Bleu Devils are idle next weekend, but preparing for the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Championships scheduled for November 7 in Clinton, Miss.  The races will be held at Choctaw Trails, starting at 8:30 a.m.
