(New Orleans, La.) (www.gcaconf.com) Dillard has played a brutal schedule to start the season. The Lady Bleu Devils have a pair of impressive wins to show for it, topping No. 13 Loyola and LSU-Alexandria at home, but have struggled on the road, going 0-3 away from Dent Hall.

Dillard (2-4, 0-0 GCAC) lost their fourth straight road game, falling to Auburn-Montgomery 62-70. The Lady Bleu Devils played their worst offensive half of the season to start the ballgame, scoring only 18 points in the first two quarters combined. Auburn-Montgomery made 10 three pointers before the break on their way to a 43-18 halftime advantage.

In the third quarter Dillard began a furious comeback. They cut the margin to 19 after outscoring the Lady Eagles by six in the third. Over the final 10 minutes, the Lady Bleu Devis would hold Auburn-Montgomery to only 14 points, but their 25 were not enough to get any closer than eight points. DU shot 52 percent in the second half and gave up just one three pointer during the final 20 minutes.

Senior Alena Evans (SR/Las Vegas, Nev.) scored 22 points and pulled down six rebounds, Keona Favis (JR/Shreveport, La.) added 17 points and Alyssa Washington (FR/Austin, Texas) scored 11.

Auburn-Montgomery (4-1, 0-0 SSAC) had four players in double-figures, with Jatoria Carter and Kaylan Withrow scoring 18 points each. Reggotta Craig had 16 points and nine rebounds.
