(New Orleans, La.)  Dillard University was the host school for the 2015 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Tad Gormley Stadium.  Dillard finished third with a total of 138 points behind Edward Waters (158 points) and the eventual champs Xavier University, who finished with a total of 202 points.

Sophomore Kaitlyn Fortuna (SO/New Orleans, LA) led the way for Dillard with a second place finish in the Women's 400 Meter Dash with a time of 57.14.  Freshman Megan Reed (FR/Thibodaux, LA) and sophomore India Ware (SO/Missouri City, TX) finished fourth and fifth respectively with times of 59.15 and 59.29.

Junior Dominique Hardin (JR/Apple Valley, CA) finished in second place in the Women's 1500 Meter Run as well as the Women's 800 Meter Run with times of 5:37.94 and 2.:34.93.  Freshman Sasha Newman (FR/Antioch, CA) finished in second place in the Women's 400 Meter Hurdles with a time of 1:08.38 and also picked up a fourth place finish in the women's 5000 meter run with a time of 25:07.

Junior Danielle Glover (JR/Bossier City, LA) notched a first place finish in the Women's Hammer Throw while senior Keylantra Taylor finished right behind her in second.  In the Women's Triple Jump, Joycelyn Daggs (SO/Thibodaux, LA) finished in first place with a distance of 11.14 meters.

In the Women's 4x400 Meter Relay, Dillard finished in second place with a time of 3:59.65.  However, in the Women's 4x100 Meter Relay, Dillard did not finish less than first place in conference in over four years.  In fact, this year they finished in third place in what proved to be an extremely tight race with a time of 47.66.  Southern University at New Orleans finished in first place with a time of 46.81 while Xavier University finished in second, posting a time of 47.22.  Last year's 4x100 Lady Bleu Devil squad had set the conference record with a time of 47.15, but their record lasted only one year as SUNO now holds the record.
