(New Orleans, La.)  As a new track season gets underway, the Dillard University Bleu Devils are in the fast lane to another conference championship.  With their lone indoor meet at McNeese University under their spikes, head coach Bobby Williams is excited to continue their winning ways.

"The first meet was a great way for the young team to get their feet wet," said Williams.  "I am looking towards our seniors to set the tone and repeat like last year."

From last year's All-American relay team, the seniors Kermit Buggage (SR/New Orleans, LA), Tobyus Simmons (SR/Chattanooga, TN) and Jevonte Ezzard (SR/College Park, GA) will be returning.  Freshman to look for are Meagan Reed and Lorenzo Gordon (FR/Dallas, TX) who were outstanding in their first meet and people who Coach Williams believed showed lots of promise.

"The season right now is a 'wait and see' process," said Williams.  "Everyone is so young.  I'm looking forward to what they can produce down the road."

The Bleu Devils open up again March 7th at Mississippi College.
