(New Orleans, La.)  Junior Alena Evans (JR/Las Vegas, NV) scored 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting as DU defeated Voorhees College by the score of 72-52 at the Battlefield in Dent Hall.  The Lady Tigers have yet to win a single conference game in ten attempts.

As a team the Lady Bleu Devils (14-9, 6-3 GCAC) led by as many as 24 points at one point and finished shooting 44 percent from the field.

Senior Keylantra Taylor (SR/Houston, TX) scored 16 points, grabbed five boards and had four steals in the victory.

DU continues GCAC play as they travel to Little Rock to face Philander Smith College on Monday, February 16 at 2:00 p.m.
