(New Orleans, La.)  The Lady Bleu Devils achieved double-digit victories for the first time since the 2011-12 season with a win over Edward Waters College by the score of 64-45 on MLK Day at the Battlefield.

The Lady Bleu Devils (10-7, 2-2 GCAC) were led by junior Alena Evans (JR/Las Vegas, NV) who finished with a game-high 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field.  Evans grabbed seven boards, picked up two steals and had one block in 29 minutes of action.  Senior Keylantra Taylor (SR/Houston, TX) filled up the stat sheet with 10 points, 10 boards, three steals, two assists and one block in 34 minutes for Dillard.  Senior transfer Ciara Morgan (SR/Springfield, IL) chipped in with 12 points, seven boards and three assists in the victory.

EWC's Natasha Ballard finished with a team-high 13 points in the loss.  Dillard's bench outscored the Lady Tigers 25-11 in the contest.

On Saturday, January 24, Dillard continues conference play and travels to Jackson, Ms. to face Tougaloo College in another GCAC contest.  Tip-off is set for 3:00 p.m.
