New Orleans, La. (GCAConf.com) – Dillard University senior forward Keylantra Taylor (SR/Houston, TX) has been named GCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played from Nov. 17-23.  This is her first Player of the Week award of her career.

The 6-0 Houston, Texas native helped the Lady Bleu Devils surpass their entire win total from the 2013-14 season with victories over LSU-Shreveport and St. Thomas (Tx.).  She posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds against St. Thomas, including a pair of clutch free throws and a steal to seal the 62-58 victory.  She shot 71 percent from the field for the week.

Shakeena Benton had 18 points on 6-9 shooting in Talladega's 76-39 win over Oakwood…Tougaloo guard DeAnna Bolton averaged 11 points and 5 assists for the Lady Bulldogs in two games…Juquecia Chaney of Philander Smith had 13 points and 8 assists in an 86-50 win over former GCAC member Fisk…Xavier's Ireyon Keith posted and tied her career-high with 10 points in consecutive games against Division I opponent Louisiana-Lafayette and Warner (Fla.)…SUNO forward Marquetta Stokes had 22 points and 7 rebounds as the Lady Knights beat Judson 91-41.
