(New Orleans)  Despite leading by 14 points in the first half, Dillard lost its 19th straight game, this time to William Carey University by the score of 83-69.  The Crusaders are ranked ninth overall in the NAIA.

Dillard (0-5, 0-0 GCAC) led by eight points at the half, but William Carey's press was too much to handle as they enjoyed 25 points off of 19 DU turnovers.  Sophomore guard JaCarre Crockett (SO/Monroe, LA) led the way for the Bleu Devils who finished with 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting.  Crockett also added three boards, two steals, one block and one assist in 34 minutes of action for Dillard.

Redshirt sophomore Houston Chatman (JR/Houma, LA) had a strong game, finishing with 14 points on 5-of-15 shooting.  Chatman added five rebounds, three assists and one steal in 37 minutes.  Sophomore Robert Pratt (SO/Monroe, LA) chipped in with 13 points, six boards, two assists, but had five turnovers in the loss.

On Wednesday, November 12, Dillard travels to Alexandria, La. to face Louisiana State University at Alexandria.  Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
