(New Orleans)  The Lady Bleu Devils were on fire in the first half, hitting 7-of-8 three pointers en route to a huge 71-46 victory over Texas College at the Battlefield in Dent Hall.  This marks the second straight victory over the Lady Steers in five days.

Dillard (2-1, 0-0 GCAC) had an extremely balanced attack, producing four scorers in double figures and one player who was one point shy of a double-double.  Junior transfer Rashida Ademosu (JR/Nashville, TN) finished with a team-high 12 points, shooting 5-for-11 from the field.  Ademosu also grabbed six boards, dished out seven assists, and had two steals and one block in only 24 minutes of action.  She is the only player on the Lady Bleu Devils who was named 1st-team All-GCAC last season.

Senior Brittany Smith (SR/Houston, TX) nailed 3-of-4 three pointers and finished with 11 points, four boards, one steal and one assist.  Sophomore Jalisa Swift (SO/Orlando, FL) and junior Alena Evans (JR/Las Vegas, NV) both chipped in with 10 points apiece while senior transfer Ciara Morgan (SR/Springfield, IL) finished with nine points and ten rebounds on the evening.

Dillard will host Auburn University at Montgomery (2-0) on Saturday, November 8 at 3:00 p.m. at the Battlefield in Dent Hall.  The Warhawks recently defeated Florida Memorial by the score of 93-35.
