(Frankfort, Ky.)  The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that Dillard University basketball players Roland Szabo (JR/Sopron, Hungary) of Sopron, Hungary, and Kierrariel Mitchell (JR/Jackson, MS) of Jackson, Mississippi were named 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.  Both student-athletes are juniors.

There were 128 Division 1 Women's Basketball student-athletes and only 75 Division 1 Men's Basketball student-athletes that were named to the list.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
