(New Orleans)  Dillard suffered its eleventh straight loss as they dropped an exciting overtime game to SUNO by the score of 71-68 (OT) at the Battlefield in Dent Hall for its annual "Pink Out" game to raise breast cancer awareness.

The Bleu Devils (4-12, 0-10 GCAC) had a chance to win at the end of regulation when redshirt freshman Houston Chatman drove to the basket and attempted to break the tie with a shot in the paint with less than ten seconds remaining, http://instagram.com/p/kiuRG3MruV/ but SUNO's interior defense prevented the basket as they forced overtime.  Chatman finished the game with 16 points, eight boards, four steals and two assists and played the entire 45 minutes of the game.  He finished a sensational 12-for-14 from the charity stripe.

Trailing by one late in OT, senior New Orleans native Merlin Walker scored his team's final four of six points and finished with a game-high 20 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals for SUNO.

Bleu Devil senior Jeremy Rixner had a solid game with 15 points, nine boards and one block, shooting 7-for-9 from the field, while sophomore Tyrone Williams had a team-high 18 points and also grabbed two rebounds, dished out one assist and had one steal in the loss.

The Bleu Devils continue conference play as they travel to Little Rock to face Philander Smith College in the "Battle of @hiphopprez, Old School vs. New School" on Saturday, February 22.
