(New Orleans)  Dillard suffered its seventh straight loss as they fell to Tougaloo College by the score of 77-62 at the Battlefield in Dent Hall.

The lead man for the Bleu Devils (4-8, 0-6 GCAC) was redshirt freshman Houston Chatman who finished with 23 points and six boards, shooting 10-for-17 from the field.  Chatman also produced two assists and one steal and played the entire 40 minutes of the game.

Dillard led 9 to 7 after senior Lance Theard buried a three point shot with roughly 15 minutes left in the first half, but Tougaloo closed the half on a 34-10 run and never looked back.  Theard finished with 14 points, five boards, five assists and three steals in 29 minutes, and was a perfect 3-for-3 from downtown.

Dillard's Robert Pratt came off the bench and chipped in with 11 points, five boards and two steals in 21 minutes of action.

For Tougaloo, senior Cordaryl Campbell had a monster game with 22 points, 18 rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block.  Campbell shot 10-for-14 from the field in the victory.

The Bleu Devils continue conference play and travel to Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) on Tuesday, February 4.  Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
