(New Orleans)  Dillard dropped its fourth straight game with a loss to Fisk University by the score of 80-74 at the Battlefield in Dent Hall.

Dillard (4-5, 0-3 GCAC) forced Fisk to commit 18 turnovers but simply couldn't capitalize and pick up stops down the stretch.  However, Dillard outrebounded Fisk 35 to 31 and produced 10 steals to Fisk's five.

The Bleu Devils were led by sophomore Tyrone Williams who finished with 17 points, five rebounds, two assists and one steal, while sophomore Jarrain Jenkins produced 14 points, six rebounds and one assist.

Sophomore Houston Chatman finished with 11 points, six boards, three assists and three steals in 17 minutes.

The Bleu Devils continue conference play and face Philander Smith College on Monday, January 20 (MLK Day) at 7:30 p.m. at the Battlefield in Dent Hall in the Battle of @hiphopprez 1 (Old School vs. New School).  The game is a rematch of the 2013 GCAC Men's Basketball championship game where Philander Smith won 65-45.
