(Talladega, AL)  Dillard dropped its sixth straight game with a loss to nationally ranked Talladega by the score of 88-55 in the Callanan Gymnasium on the campus of Talladega College.

Lady Tonadoes senior Ryvan Jackson led the game with 18 points, shooting 9-for-13 from the field.  Jackson also added eight rebounds, two assists and one steal.  As a team Talladega shot 53 percent from the field while the Lady Bleu Devils shot 34 percent.

Dillard junior Kierrariel Mitchell led Dillard (0-6, 0-1 GCAC) with 13 points on 4-of-12 shooting.  Mitchell also added six boards, one assist and one steal in 35 minutes.

"It's only the first conference game and we fell short, but we have another game on Monday that we have to focus on," said Mitchell.  "Give it some time and we will get it together."

Dillard freshman Keona Favis chipped in with 11 points, four boards and two steals.

The Lady Bleu Devils continue conference play on Monday, January 6, when they travel to Florida to face GCAC opponent Edward Waters College.
