(New Orleans)  The Loyola Wolf Pack ended its three game losing streak with a victory over the Lady Bleu Devils by the score of 89-40 in the Den on the campus of Loyola University.

Loyola senior Jasmine Brewer led the game with 15 points, shooting 6-for-12 from the field.  Brewer also added nine rebounds and four steals.  The Wolf Pack buried 10 three pointers in the game while holding Dillard to 0-for-15 shooting from behind the arc.  The Lady Bleu Devils only managed 12 points in the second half.

Dillard Freshman Jalisa Swift picked up some of the slack and led Dillard (0-5, 0-0 GCAC) with nine points on 4-of-12 shooting.  Swift also added three boards and one steal in 28 minutes.

However, the Lady Bleu Devils struggled to find the basket throughout the game without their two leading scorers, freshman Julia Hendrieth and sophomore Alena Evans, who both average 11 points per game.  On the night Dillard was also outrebounded 53-34.

The Lady Bleu Devils begin conference play on Saturday, January 4, when they travel to Alabama to face GCAC opponent Talladega College, who is ranked #13 in the NAIA.
