(Lorman)  The Braves took full advantage of their opponent's mistakes by defeating Dillard by the score of 91-51 at the Davey L. Whitney Complex on the campus of Alcorn State University.  Alcorn forced Dillard into 16 turnovers while only committing 10 themselves.

The Bleu Devils (1-1, 0-0 GCAC) were led by freshman Trent Flowers who had 13 points, shooting 4-for-10 from the field and 3-for-7 from downtown in only 14 minutes of action.

Dillard was down by the score of 43-20 at the half and couldn't recover; giving up 48 second half points to Alcorn on 61 percent shooting.

Senior Jordan Kilson finished with six points, three offensive boards and one assist in 15 minutes for Dillard.

For Alcorn, senior Twann Oakley, sophomores Devontae Hampton and Tyrel Hunt each finished with 13 points apiece.  The Braves produced 15 assists for the game while Dillard only managed a mere seven.

On November 26, the Bleu Devils host Spring Hill College in the Battlefield at Dent Hall.  Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
