(New Orleans)  Members of Dillard's track and field team took time out to speak at St. Rita's Catholic School.  The student-athletes spoke to kids ranging from fifth to seventh grade.

"We spoke to them about education, respect, making good decisions, and setting and sticking with their goals and dreams," said two-time All-American track athlete Jevonté Ezzard.

"The kids had a lot of questions regarding being a collegiate student-athlete, and we even had a friendly race after the event," said Ezzard.

"It was really cool being around a group of young black individuals who are not just participating in sports, but are excelling in the classroom as well."
