The Bleu Devils looked decent in the first half as they trailed the Knights by only nine points; however, Southern University at New Orleans used a huge 53 point second half surge to crush Dillard 84-52 on "Senior Knight."

Dillard (3-19 overall, 2-11 GCAC) was led by freshman Jarrain Jenkins who had the games only double-double as he finished with a game-high 23 points and snatched 10 rebounds, shooting 11-for-21 from the field.

On the other hand, the Knights were led by Clyde Moore who scored 14 points on the night.  Moore only missed three shots all night and also collected five boards and dished out five assists in the win.

Dillard trailed 31-22 at halftime and it looked as though they might have a chance to steal another victory on the road, but after committing 19 turnovers in the game and also giving up 10 second half three pointers to SUNO, their chances quickly dwindled down.

On Saturday, February 23, Dillard closes out the regular season as they travel across town to face Xavier University.  Tip-off is set for 5:00 p.m.
