New Orleans, LA -- Athletic Director/Head Women's Basketball Coach, Kiki Baker Barnes, was the guest speaker at St. Joan of Arc Middle School banquet, on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 7 pm. During the speech, Barnes awarded Nicole Doming with the NAIA Champions of Character Award.  The NAIA Champions of Character award is given to a student who best expemplifies the five core values of the NAIA Champions of Character programs :  respect, responsibility, integrity, servant leadership and sportsmanship. Dillard University athletics was named a Champion of Character institution last year.
