Dillard (2-13 overall, 1-5 GCAC) was led by freshman Jaquan Green who had a game-high 31 points, six boards and one steal in only 30 minutes of action, but the offensive onslaught from the Panthers was simply too much for the Bleu Devils to handle. Juvon Demerson had a double-double for Philander Smith, finishing with 22 points, 11 boards, two assists, one block and one steal in just 23 minutes of action, and Clayton Busby scored 20 points, grabbed three boards and dished out three assists for the Panthers.
Dillard's Kelth Cameron had an efficient game, scoring 11 points and hitting 5-of-6 shots from the field. He also grabbed five rebounds, had two steals and one blocked shot in only 16 minutes of action.
