The Crusaders, ranked number 15 in the nation, used nearly 30 fast break points to defeat the Bleu Devils 97-62 in the Battlefield.  William Carey scored 36 points off of Dillard's 22 turnovers as they nearly reached 100 points for the second time this season.

Freshman Jaquan Green slashed his way to the basket on several occasions as he dropped 21 points in just 21 minutes of action and freshman Tyrone Williams added 18 points, four rebounds and two blocks for Dillard (1-5 overall, 0-0 GCAC).  William Carey shot 52 percent from the field while the Bleu Devils shot 37 percent from the field.

Junior Kelvin Nixon led the way for William Carey with 17 points and four boards, while junior Guy Payne had a strong performance with 12 points, ten boards, two assists and two steals, but fouled out the game late in the second half.

On Saturday, December 8, the Bleu Devils travel across town to face Loyola University.  Tipoff is set for 4:00 p.m.
