New Orleans, LA -- David Manning was recently named to the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference all-conference team. Manning, a 6-4 junior, averaged 18.54 points per game and 6.43 rebounds per game. Manning led the Blue Devils to their best season finish (12-18) since Hurricane Katrina.

Manning's stellar year included scoring in double figures 24 out of 28 games. He also posted three, 30 point performances against LSUS (1/29/09), Spring Hill (2/14/09) and Xavier (2/28/09). Manning's 30 point performance against Xavier lead the Blue Devils to their first victory against the cross-town rival since 2001.   For more information regarding the GCAC 2008-2009 All-Conference team please click here.
