After snapping a 13 game losing streak with a win on Homecoming, Dillard could not continue its win streak as the team dropped its first home game of the season 98-70 to Tennessee Wesleyan in the Battlefield in New Orleans.

Freshman Jaquan Green filled up the stat sheet for Dillard (1-3 overall, 0-0 GCAC) with 29 points, three rebounds, four steals and three assists in 35 minutes of action.  Freshman Jarrian Jenkins was the only other double-digit scorer for the Bleu Devils as he finished with 19 points and grabbed nine boards.

Early on, the Bulldogs put the young Dillard team on its heels as they enjoyed a 52-31 lead at the half and shot 11-for-18 behind the arc for the game.

Despite the Bleu Devils outscoring Tennessee Wesleyan 50-46 in the paint, Dillard turned the ball over a total of 20 times and Tennessee Wesleyan scored 28 points off those turnovers which proved to be the story of the evening.

On Saturday, December 1, the Bleu Devils travel to Blue Mountain, Mississippi, to face Blue Mountain College in the return game.  Dillard defeated the Toppers 63-58 on November 17 in New Orleans.
