(New Orleans) The Dillard Bleu Devils hung tough, but lost to the Spring Hill Badgers 62-49 on the Battlefield in Dent Hall on Tuesday night.

 Dillard tried everything in their arsenal to stay with Spring Hill, but were unable to withstand the blazing outside shooting of the Badgers. Spring Hill hit six three-pointers and shot 61% from the field while coasting to a 34-21 halftime lead. 

 

In the second half, the Bleu Devils mounted a comeback, slicing the Badgers lead down to nine points, but Spring Hill continued their offensive attack from the outside and coasted the victory.

Terry Church led the Bleu Devils with 25 points, including 4-for-7 from behind the three-point arc. Church also grabbed four rebounds for the Bleu Devils. Lance Theard chipped in with 12 points for the Bleu Devils.

The Bleu Devils will be in back in action on Thursday, December 1st versus the UNO Privateers on the Battlefield in Dent Hall. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30p.m. It will be "AIDS Awareness Night" on the Battlefield.
