New Orleans, LA -- The Lady Blue Devils defeated the Lady Hornets 3-0 (25-11,25-10, 25-13) Saturday, October 4, 2008.

The victory gave the Lady Blue Devils their first home victory of the season. Keisha Smoke, a 5-7 Junior, led the team with 11 kills and 6 aces.  "I am really proud of the way our team played" said Coach Brown. "We played well and at a steady level."  The Lady Blue Devils advance to 2-6 on the seaosn.

The Lady Blue Devils will continue to build on their momentum when they face off against the Spring Hill Lady Badgers on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 7 pm in Dent Hall Gymnasium. Faculty, staff, and students get in free with their Dillard I.D.
