This was the second meeting between the two teams for the 2009-2010 campaign.  Dillard (3-18, 1-13) defeated Life 82-70 at Dent Gym, on December 18.  The Running Eagles are a member of the Association of Independent Institutions and in second place in the Men's Division I standings with a record of 16-10.  They have no conference affiliation.

James Burkes chipped in 12 points and six rebounds for the Bleu Devils.  As a team, the men had their best rebounding performance of the season, grabbing a total of 51 to Life's 39.  The previous high of 45 was set back on November 21 against Talladega.

Dillard will next play Carver Bible College at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, in Atlanta, Ga.
