The women dominated the Lady Badgers from start to finish, using an early 12-0 run to close the first half with a 31-18 lead.  Ariel Mitchell led Dillard with 13 points and Guylene Nsiewe came off the bench to post her first double-double of the year, 11 points and 10 rebounds.

In second half action, Dillard's lead was simply too much for Spring Hill to overcome and the Lady Bleu Devils went up by 20 points (48-28) midway through the period.  The women pushed the lead to 25 (56-31) when Jasmine Archie made it to the free throw line to sink two shots at 5:47.

As a team, Dillard posted its second highest rebound total of the season, with 46.  The season high (47) was set against Edward Waters College on December 5, 2009. 

Kristin Ybarra scored 11 points to lead Spring Hill, which remains winless in conference play.

The Dillard women will host Southern University of New Orleans (12-8, 6-8) this Thursday, February 18, at Dent Gym.  Tip off time is 5:30 p.m.
