Ariel Mitchell led Dillard with 14 points, followed by Alrieon Bevins and Lai'Ana Gill with 12 points apiece. Bevins also had a team-high of seven rebounds. As a team, rebounding continues to be a weak spot for the DU women, who grabbed 33. The Lady Bulldogs closed with a total of 57, with Erica Grayson and Victoria Jones pulling down 15 and 17, respectively. Jones also had 15 points and Tougaloo was led by Damara Bolton with 16.
The Lady Bleu Devils next play local rival Loyola at The Den this Saturday, January 23, at 5 p.m. The Wolfpack (9-6, 3-2), ranked fifth in the GCAC, is coming off a 51-48 loss to Belhaven.
