New Orleans, LA -- Head Women's Basketball Coach, Kiki Baker Barnes has been selected to participate in the BCA's 2008 ACE program.  The ACE program begin in 2003 as a collaborative effort between the BCA and the NCAA's Office of Diversity and Inclusion, the Minority Interest Committee and the Committee on Women's Athletics to further the advancement of minority men and women in athletics.  Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of full-time collegiate coaching experience, possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, and currently be employed full-time at an accredited college or university. The 2008 class consisted of eight women's basketball coaches and 10 men's basketball coaches.

Current ACE graduate notables include, Coquese Washington (Penn State), Carol Owens (Northern Illinois), and Jolette Law ( Indiana).
